Find an object in our world today that is not sustainable, and come up with an alternative packaging design with a more sustainable approach.

Leaf it To Me, would become a sustainable alternative to typical toilet paper. After research, I found that the plastic packaging used in current toilet paper packaging is detrimental toward our efforts to cleaning up the environment. As a result, my new design removes the plastic completely and replaces the plastic with recyclable paper.

Each toilet paper roll will be designed with a unique hand-drawn illustrative pattern related to the environment – sunlight, roots, bark, and leaves. Each of the paper coverings will made of recyclable paper. In addition, the cardboard rolls collected inside will be made of seed paper that can be later planted into the ground to become a tree.
